In LISAS cooking class, guests simply watch — the instructor prepares everything. This format allows you to clearly understand the entire flow of cooking from start to finish. When participants cook, it can be difficult to grasp the overall process, so Risa demonstrates each step carefully while explaining common mistakes and key tips to help you recreate the dishes successfully at home. The class focuses on beautifully balanced and nutritious Japanese home-style dishes and bento that are delicious even when cold. In just one hour, you’ll discover the many charms packed into a small bento box.

Instructor Profile
Risa Ohashi

Risa Ohashi After graduating from an art university, Risa worked as a designer at a craft manufacturer. After returning to work six months postpartum, she developed efficient household management skills. To ease the loneliness of parenting, she frequently hosted home parties and mastered easy entertaining techniques. She later assisted in launching a café and cooking school for a food manufacturer and opened her own home-based class in 2015. In 2017, she renovated a Kyoto machiya (traditional townhouse) and opened “LISAS”, where she welcomes about 150 students a month, offering classes that blend practical cooking efficiency with stylish and impressive dishes.

Lesson Fee
44,000 yen (prepaid by credit card)
The demonstration covers four bento boxes in total, regardless of whether you attend alone or with others.
If you’d like to add more bentos, each additional one is 3,850 yen.
Up to 8 people can attend as observers.
Please make your reservation at least one week in advance.

You’ll also receive a recipe to help you recreate the dishes at home.
